  • That heat video costs $500 because if an employee completes the "program" then the company can no longer be held liable under normal means. It's essentially avoiding a Negligence Tort Law case which could be hundreds of thousands of dollars if an injury occurs, but if someone is trained to know the signs, the company can shift liability. No matter how mundane or obvious the information is, companies know they can charge what they like for them. Hell, "performance questionnaires" purchased for performance reviews can cost $500, and its literally 5 multiple choice questions on paper. ;)

  • The video about tripping and slight bumps in the road was the most useful and accurate and that's the one he bashed the hardest. He's mad that they teach you the bits that you don't normally notice in the road - but that's the whole point of why you need the video. What does he want, because if they'd be showing banana peels n fucking manholes then he would and should be bashing it because nobody needed that revelation. I trip on shitty roads once a week and I'm just walking places and aint even lifting shit and/or going backwards and/or having vision obstructed. The small but gradual, hard to spot dents are actually worse than a straight up 90° doorstep etc. cause the impact causes your foot to recoil and your leg is then immediately free to right yourself. You take a step forward on what looks to be a straight path, and somewhere along the way shit goes up half an inch and you hit that, there's a lot more surface area of rubber sole suddenly getting grabbed and halted by friction which sends you straight down cause your leg can't react in time - or if it does, and you just stumble a short distance, then your other foot will hit the next bump in this ratchet road with even more force since you're moving faster from stumbling and you'll find your face niceliy filling up a third hole.

  • Heat syncope or fainting is a mild form of heat illness that often results from physical exertion when it is hot. It occurs when your body, in an effort to cool itself, causes the blood vessels to dilate to such an extent that blood flow to the brain is reduced.

He was playing a game and could hear someone over the Mic coughing and he used this clip over it when it happened. I don't even know if he still has that video up or if it's even possible to find, I remember watching it around 2013-2015. I don't know why the fuck I remember things like this....

  • Syncope is fainting, heat syncope is fainting from overheating in case anyone was wondering. Plus, I work in fire/EMS, we see it a lot out here in the rural areas with farms in the summer, especially with the younger adults who are spent the last 18 years in the AC playing video games and then go work a farm lol but they usually get used to it pretty quickly
